F. What I will teach you

  1. I have taught you how to read research articles.
  2. I have taught you the anatomy of research articles.

[Template to make your ppt….. put your data on this ppt file.. use same formats… use same pattern.. ]

  1. Your title of the article can be in the form:
Hexokinase-II Positively Regulates Glucose Starvation-Induced Autophagy through TORC1 Inhibition
  2. The articles should not be older than 2018.
  3. Please don’t select a survey-based article to present.
  4. The article should not be review article but only research article.

C. Material to submit before and after the presentation

  2. Presenter will submit summary of the article (3 sets)
  3. containing these headings (as shown in D).

D. General Questions to be asked during the presentation

1) Pathway or importance of gene/technology/discovery

2) Rationale

3) Conclusion of the full article

4) New finding present in the article

5) Applications of the findings

6) Future prospectives

7) Principle of every technique used in the research article

E. General instructions for presenter and listeners

  1. The presentation must be around 15 long with 5 minutes for question and answer session.
  2. You must make ppt files from the choosen research article (plus material from internet if you want).
  3. You must not miss any figure from the research article.
  4. There must be ~15-20 slides in ppt file.
  5. One slide usually takes 1 to 2 min.
  6. You must submit your ppt slides directly to my email address ([email protected]).
